Istanbul — The ultimate goal of any external consultancy should be to make itself obsolete. Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate a monumental milestone: Turkish Airlines has officially transitioned to conducting their own EBT Train-the-Trainer courses entirely in-house.
Implementing Evidence-Based Training (EBT) across a massive global carrier requires immense initial support. But sustainable success relies on an airline's ability to take ownership of the methodology and propagate it organically from within. Turkish Airlines has now reached Phase 4 of our implementation roadmap: Total Autonomy.
The Architecture of Independence
Transitioning from guided co-hosting to full internal delivery is a testament to the rigorous preparation of the Turkish Airlines training standards team. By licensing our world-leading EBT courseware, the airline's core team is now fully empowered to train, evaluate, and standardise their vast instructor network without relying on external vendors.
This milestone unlocks critical strategic advantages for the operator:
- Audit-Proof Independence: The airline controls its own regulatory destiny, supported by our fully compliant, continuously updated course content.
- Unrestricted Scalability: As the fleet grows and new instructors are onboarded, Turkish Airlines can schedule and execute Train-the-Trainer courses dynamically to match their operational demands.
- Cultural Ownership: Because the training is delivered by their own senior personnel, the competency language becomes deeply embedded within the airline's unique culture.
The journey from our initial strategic alignment sessions to this point of total autonomy has been rigorous, but the Turkish Airlines leadership team executed the roadmap with flawless precision.
"True empowerment means handing over the keys. Seeing the Turkish Airlines core team master our EBT architecture and confidently train their own peers is the highest validation of our implementation model."
We congratulate the entire training department on this remarkable achievement. While they now fly solo on their day-to-day instructor standardisation, the Empower.aero advisory team remains just a phone call away for future innovations.
