Istanbul — Following their landmark announcement as the global launch customer for CBTA Unity™, the core training team at Pegasus Airlines has successfully completed their inaugural Multi-Pilot Licence (MPL) Train-the-Trainer course. This marks an exciting first operational deployment of Empower.aero's revolutionary architectural framework.

Over three highly interactive days, the Pegasus training cadre was equipped with the sophisticated tools required to roll out a next-generation Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) system directly into their MPL programme. This comprehensive implementation ensures absolute compliance with Part-FCL.925 MPL requirements for the ATO, while perfectly synchronising with their upcoming Evidence-Based Training (EBT) transition across the airline.

Speaking a Single Competency Language

Designed to cultivate a highly integrated training environment, this intensive course introduced several cutting-edge features:

  • Next-gen MPL Programme Syllabus: Empowering session designers with the techniques to create an engaging, airline-oriented MPL programme, complete with built-in feedback loops for precise pilot learning curve analysis.
  • Rapid & Robust Instructor Standardisation: Implementing a comprehensive observation and grading system that is fully aligned with ORO.FC.231 Evidence-Based Training regulations.
  • Cutting-edge TEM-based Debriefing: Utilising interactive role-play sessions to bring facilitation and Threat and Error Management fully into the 21st century and beyond.

Transforming Vision into Practice

In our previous announcement, we introduced CBTA Unity™ - the Rosetta Stone of aviation training. This week, we witnessed that unified language of competence put into practice. By partnering with Empower.aero, Pegasus Airlines is seamlessly bridging their MPL solutions with the exact same competency ecosystem currently being rolled out in their parallel EBT pathway.

Because every phase of this MPL solution is intrinsically aligned with their broader training frameworks, the airline is establishing a rock-solid foundation for their evolutionary leap into Mixed EBT. The result is a harmonious transition that unifies grading frameworks and elevates the standardised instructor experience.

"Pegasus are actively shaping an interconnected, future-proof training ecosystem where every compatible data point—from ab-initio to command courses—feeds directly into fleet-wide safety. Watching CBTA Unity™ come to life in the hands of such capable professionals confirms that the future of standardised aviation training is here."

We are profoundly honoured to continue walking this path alongside Pegasus Airlines as they boldly redefine what is possible in modern airline training standardisation.
