Istanbul — Building sustainable training excellence relies on continuous collaboration and ongoing instructor support. We were thrilled to return to Istanbul to deliver another successful round of Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) courses with our esteemed partners at Pegasus Airlines.

As Pegasus continues to expand its dynamic network, maintaining absolute standardisation across an growing body of simulator and line instructors is vital. Returning to the airline's training facilities allowed our advisory team to reinforce core competency concepts, fine-tune grading alignment, and support their ongoing operational evolution.

Strengthening Evaluator Concordance on the Ground

During our return visit, the training sessions focused heavily on practical application and deep instructor calibration, ensuring that every evaluator continues to operate with the exact same standard:

  • Refining Behavioural Assessment: Ensuring instructors consistently score Observable Behaviours (OBs) without subjective drift.
  • Advanced Debriefing Support: Enhancing Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques to maximize simulator learning outcomes.
  • Long-Term Program Sustainability: Empowering the Pegasus internal team to seamlessly onboard new evaluators into their established framework.

The dedication, technical expertise, and warm hospitality shown by the Pegasus Airlines training team made our return to Istanbul an absolute pleasure.

"True standardisation is an ongoing journey, not a one-off event. Returning to work alongside the dedicated team at Pegasus Airlines is a testament to their deep commitment to safety."

We thank everyone at Pegasus Airlines for their continued trust and look forward to our next visit as their CBTA success story continues to grow.
