The combined team of Turkish Airlines and TAFA training management and senior trainers gathered at the airline's main training centre in Istanbul for the first MPLi Train-the-trainer course run by MPL specialists within Empower's training team.

Empower is supporting Turkish Airlines and TAFA in creating a cutting-edge MPL programme across the two organisations to ensure a future pipeline of enhanced airline-ready pilots.

The system is an industry-first as the underlying CBTA system used for the MPL course is fully compatible with the EBT system adopted by Turkish airlines in support by Empower. This means that Empower are the first organisation to unite ORO.FC.231 with FCL.925 in a simple yet powerful system.

The 3-day course covered all aspects of MPLI training in compliance with EASA FCL.925. Turkish Airlines will now utilise Empower's content and delivery methods to train up their teams of trainers. Due to the unique CBTA system, those already qualified as EBT instructors will be able to be fast-tracked in gaining the additional MPLI qualification.
