Empower.aero extends innovative collaboration with Turkish Airlines for wider CBTA implementation

Istanbul, November 2024

Following on from the highly successful partnership between Empower.aero and Turkish Airlines which culminated in the airline receiving Mixed-EBT approval from the Turkish DGCA in January 2024, the two parties have now signed an agreement to extend their relationship to power Turkish Airlines towards Baseline EBT and to expand into new areas of Competency-based Training and Assessment (CBTA) throughout the airline's training programmes.

In ab-initio training, the collaboration will focus on applying best practices from EBT into their upcoming Multi-pilot Licence (MPL) programme run in collaboration with Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA).
