Airline EBT empowerment begins in Latvia

Empower arrived in Riga on a chilly yet sunny winter's day to begin AirBaltic's implementation of EBT across their airline of Airbus A220 aircraft.

The visit included the delivery by senior Empower trainers of their unique 3-day interactive EBT Train-the-Trainer course with the AirBaltic core training team, and culminated with an EBT Trainer Assessment of Competency (AoC) for their Head of Training during a live Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) session. This session allowed the Head of Training to practice his new found skills in competency grading and best-practice facilitation methodologies ready to conduct future EBT AoCs on the AirBaltic training team.

An operations inspector from the Latvian National Competent Authority also joined the course; we always encourage airlines to share the full EBT journey with their NCA to promote a seamless transition to approved Mixed and Baseline EBT.
